Our Commitment to Your Artwork

At Galiano Art Gallery, every original artwork is treated with the care and respect it deserves. We take great pride in ensuring that each piece arrives safely and in perfect condition, no matter where in the world it's headed.

Packaging & Protection

All artworks are professionally packaged using museum-quality materials. Unframed works on paper or canvas are rolled in acid-free tissue and shipped in heavy-duty tubes or flat rigid mailers. Framed works and panels are wrapped in protective foam, corner-guarded, and double-boxed for maximum protection during transit. Larger or particularly fragile pieces may be crated in custom wooden crates to ensure safe delivery.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

We ship throughout the United States via USPS, UPS, and DHL. Estimated delivery times are as follows:

• Standard shipping: 5–10 business days
• Expedited shipping: 2–3 business days
• Oversized or crated works: 7–14 business days (delivery timeline confirmed at time of purchase)

Tracking information is provided for all domestic shipments.

International Shipping

We ship to over 27 countries worldwide via DHL eCommerce, DHL Express, and UPS. Estimated delivery times vary by destination:

• Canada & Mexico: 5–10 business days
• Europe & UK: 7–14 business days
• Rest of World: 10–21 business days

All international shipments include tracking. Delivery timelines may vary due to customs processing in the destination country.

Insurance

All shipments are fully insured for the declared value of the artwork. In the rare event of damage or loss in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date (or expected delivery date) at [your contact email]. We will work with you promptly to file a claim and arrange a resolution.

Please retain all original packaging materials until the claim is resolved, as carriers may require inspection.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country upon delivery. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are collected by the destination country's customs authority. We recommend checking with your local customs office for an estimate of applicable fees before placing your order.

All international shipments are declared at full value in compliance with customs regulations. We are unable to mark shipments as "gifts" or undervalue declared amounts.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been collected by the carrier.
